Tip Seven: Keep it Clean
You have to shower. You have to wash your hands. You have to wipe down surfaces. And you need to do it a lot! Bathe the kids, too. If they’re clean, it will help them fight off whatever you’ve got.
Tip Eight: Exercise
Sure, you may want to just lay in bed or lounge on the couch, but your body needs exercise to stay healthy. It gets the blood flowing and your lungs working. Also, it keeps your muscles from aching.
I’m not saying to go run a 5K or rock a spinning class, but walk around your neighborhood. Be in the fresh air. Push the kids in the stroller. Keep the heart pumping.
Tip Nine: Don’t Give In
You feel it coming. You know you’re sick. But don’t let it get you. Do the items above and fight back. If you make the mental mistake of saying “I’m sick, I’m just going to lay down” it’s got you beat.
